England Squash has confirmed a two-year partnership with Kukri Sports which will see the global sportswear brand become England’s official clothing partner.

Kukri provides bespoke kit for some of the world’s leading sports teams including Commonwealth Games England. Following consultation with leading England Squash players, the new official England Squash clothing collection will be unveiled in January at the Dunlop British Junior Open.

England Squash CEO Keir Worth said: “We are thrilled to have signed a two-year deal with such an innovative and world-class brand as Kukri. We’ve been through a rigorous process to find the most suitable clothing partner that shares our vision and values, and can deliver on our aspirations.”

“Kukri is renowned for its quality, excellence in innovation and embracing the newest technology, and we look forward to working together in what is sure to be a successful partnership.”

Andrew Ronnie, Group Executive Chairman said: “We are delighted to be joining forces with England Squash as the official clothing partner for the next two years. This new partnership highlights the commitment of the Kukri brand to providing high performance, high-quality bespoke kit to athletes at all levels from grassroots through to elite and this aligns perfectly with the values of England Squash.

“It will be an honour to reveal the new national kit in January and we are very much looking forward to being part of the team that not only drives the elite athletes to the top of their game but encourages young players at all levels.”

England’s Laura Massaro and Declan James have been closely involved in the England kit design and visited the Kukri’s headquarters in Preston for a design day last month.

Nantes Open 2018 champion James said: “It’s always a privilege to pull on the England shirt, and to be involved in this process makes it even more special. We’re all passionate about how we look on the court, and if you look good you feel good.”

David Campion, England National Coach said: “Clothing worn by England Squash representative teams is significant in projecting and enhancing the England Squash brand through alignment of values, best practice and reinforcing our professional and performance-orientated culture.”
