Kukri, the Lancashire based provider of quality bespoke sportswear to athletes and teams, has returned to profits in a remarkable success that has taken less than 18 months.
The company – which is part of JD Sports Fashion plc – had been loss making in recent years. In 2015 the Brand repositioned itself in the market and raised service levels to a record high. The result sees Kukri return to profit.
“It’s been a strong year for Kukri, having followed a robust strategy that has been implemented successfully by the management team. Our service levels are at an all-time high which has instilled confidence in the brand and played a significant part in the recent success. The future of Kukri is buoyant and I’m delighted that the hard work of the team has achieved such outstanding results.”
Andrew Ronnie, Group Executive Chairman, Kukri
