Ahead of their defence of the NatWest T20 Blast trophy, Lancashire County Cricket Club have revealed images of the brand new shirt that they will wear.

The kit, designed by Kukri, is a commemorative Champions Shirt and includes references to the club’s success in the T20 last summer when they won the trophy for the first time in the club’s history.

“Our kit has been supplied by Kukri for many years and they’ve always produced fantastic gear for us. Not only is it important for the kit to look good and reflect our Lancashire heritage but it also has to feel right and be comfortable, Kukri have got this down to a fine art.”
Steven Croft Captain Lancashire County Cricket Club
“We are delighted to be working with Lancashire County Cricket Club to supply their kits for the new season. We are proud to continue working with the Red Rose County after such a successful 2015.”

The shirt combines performance and design and will give Lancashire Lightning the best chance to defend their 2015 trophy, starting with the opening NatWest T20 Blast fixture against Derbyshire Falcons and Emirates Old Trafford.

“Our Pro Cricket jersey is made from the lightweight and breathable S-Spire fabric, giving players the comfort and freedom to perform.”
James Oakes Regional Sales Manager Kukri

The T20 jersey features a prominent lightning bolt incorporated across the front of the shirt. New this year and to commemorate last year’s success, Kukri have also added the ‘2015 champions’ detailing to the cuffs, whilst proudly displaying the Champions Star above the Lightning logo.

“The Champions Star is a great touch and commemorates last year’s success at Edgbaston. I know the lads will be proud to wear this for the first time in Dubai.”

Supporters can get their hands on the T20 jersey from the LCCC shop from early April.
