Kukri Sports are delighted to announce that we will once again be partnering with the Cayman Islands Olympic Committee (CIOC) as their official apparel provider, this time at the Olympic Games hosted in Rio 2016. Kukri and the Cayman Islands have worked together on previous games such as the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the Samoa 2015 Youth Commonwealth Games.
“We have developed a great working relationship with the CIOC over the last couple of years and we are thrilled to be partnering with them at the upcoming Olympics. We have been able to provide the athletes with an identity that they can be proud of at previous games so it will be fantastic to have another opportunity to see athletes wearing Kukri on the biggest stage.”
Jamie Williams, Sales Director, Kukri North America.
“Kukri was able to deliver on the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games for the Cayman Islands in a big way; it was such a great experience working with them that we’ve stuck with them ever since! We are excited to partner with Kukri for the Olympic’s next year and outfit our team well in advance of the Games so that we are able to promote our hard working athletes the way that they deserve, with full support of their community back home during the lead up to the Opening Ceremony.”
